One of my lifelong passions is sharing the stories of women of history and/or legend whom the record may have forgotten, either because they weren’t deemed important enough, or because their civilizations dwindled, or because they weren’t of the upper classes, or simply because they were women.

Like Claudia Quinta, who supposedly singlehandedly towed a ship into harbor in Ancient Rome. Or Brigh Brigaid, who championed women’s law in Ireland. Or the Rain Queens, the hereditary queens of Balobedu who summon the rain and inspired Marvel Comics to create the character of Storm. And so, so many more.
